Our experience, expertise and systems allow us to handle everything to do with selling a property in-house, both the estate agency and the legal work.  We can devise the marketing strategy and organise the sale, carry out the conveyancing and make sure that everything – right up to completion – goes as smoothly as possible. If you are moving on, we can also help with every step of the buying process.

We are also experienced in, and well placed to advise on the puchase and sale of investment property  and  student flats in the City.

You’ll be dealing with one of our two dedicated  property partners. They’re assisted by a small team of experienced solicitors, and will be able to give you all the information and advice you need. The property team can also introduce you to other reliable professionals, be they search agents, tax advisors, architects, letting agents, mortgage consultants or HMO advisors. They can organise surveys and home reports, help with making the right offer, and give you an accurate estimate of costs including stamp duty and legal fees.

Selling Property

If you’re looking to sell a property, please get in touch and we’ll arrange a meeting with one of our two dedicated property partners. We’re happy to meet at your property at a time that suits you or you can come in to our office. We’ll be able to answer any questions you have, and explain what we can do to help.

For instance, there are clear advantages in having us handle both the estate agency and all the legal work: everything’s under one roof, from the initial valuation, home report and sales particulars to viewings and the overall marketing strategy right through to completion.

We work very closely with the Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre (espc.com), which sells over 90% of property in Edinburgh and the Lothians, and which markets for sale all our property. In turn ESPC is now part of SSPC (Scottish Solicitors Property Centres) which has the largest website of properties for sale in Scotland (sspc.co.uk).
